Corporate Risk helps all Wells Fargo businesses identify and manage risk. We focus on three key risk areas: credit risk, operational risk and market risk. In addition, this group provides an enterprise-wide view of risk, assists management and our Board of Directors in identifying and monitoring risks that may affect multiple lines of business, and takes appropriate action when business activities exceed the risk tolerance of the company
The Wells Fargo Operational Risk Solutions group is seeking an Operational Risk Consultant 5. We are searching for a highly motivated individual to be responsible for developing, implementing and monitoring risk-based programs that identify, assess and mitigate any operational risk that arises from inadequate or failed internal processes, people, systems or external events. This position will work with complex business units and provide operational risk expertise and consulting for projects and initiatives with high risk, generally spanning multiple business lines at the enterprise level. The responsibilities of this position focus on collaborating closely with business and technology partners to ensure the ongoing success of enterprise level risk processes and activities that Operational Risk Solutions provides process oversight responsibility.
The ideal candidate for this position will have the ability to work in a fast paced environment, collaborate well with others, and possess excellent troubleshooting, resolution, organization, communication and critical thinking skills. This individual must be capable of initiating action and managing change. The candidate must have strong relationship management, influencing, and execution skills. A key differentiator will be the ability to understand and operate successfully in a complex, heavily matrixed corporate environment.
