DISTINGUISHING FEATURES OF THE CLASS:
The Enrollment Services Processor is responsible for providing enrollment related services to Community
members, Community departments/programs and other Tribal and Federal agencies in accordance with Title 3,
the Membership Ordinance.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
0 Assist community members, departments/programs, and other Tribal/Federal agencies requesting
Certification of Indian Blood (CIB) for educational, medical, burial, and other miscellaneous services.
0 Issue tribal identi?cation cards to eligible members upon request.
0 Process a high volume of enrollment record updates to include change of address, name changes, all legal
documents (i.e., court documents, power of attorney, GRIC Per Capita Power of Attorney).
0 Responsible for ensuring required enrollment documents are scanned to all enrollment databases and filed
accordingly.
0 Responsible for ensuring files are updated, checked in, and filed after services have been processed and
completed.
0 Maintain confidentiality of enrollment information and prevent disclosure of such information to any
unauthorized person or agency.
0 Verify enrollment for Per Capita applicants utilizing the Progeny Enrollment database, laser fiche, and
enrollment records to ensure member information coincides with the Per Capita Application System
[PCAS], including social security number, current address, and legal name.
0 Work closely with the Per Capita Office to resolve issues pertaining to enrollment veri?cation and per
capita application or payment disbursement .
0 Produce reports using the Per Capita Application System for resolution of incomplete applications.
0 Respond to all inquiries pertaining to the status of Per Capita applications affected by enrollment records.
0 Monitor and process revoked Gila River Indian Community Per Capita Power of Attorney requests affected
by Per Capita distribution.Verify primary parent/ guardian for Minor Trust agent; assist primary agent with pending minor requests;
maintain updated and accurate enrollment records on minor trust agents..Review court documents pertaining to all minors and legally incompetent adults to ensure appropriate
veri?cation of primary agent for early minor trust disbursement; keep and maintain minor trust log and
veri?cations on each disbursement.Consult with Tribal Social Services regarding Wards of the Court and other cases regarding minors.Work simultaneously with the Financial Analyst and Providence First Trust Corporation for administration
of trust funds.Perform other related duties as assigned.REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILL AND ABILITY:Working knowledge of computer operation and software: Progeny Enrollment Data Base, Laser Fiche, Per
Capital Application System (PCAS), Microsoft Word and Excel at a moderate level.Working knowledge and skill in data-entry, recordkeeping, compiling data, and ?ling.Working knowledge and skill in use of office practices, procedures and equipment, including computers.
Knowledge of Gila River Indian Community per capita and enrollment criteria.Knowledge of methods and practices used in organizing and prioritizing work to complete tasks in a timely
manner.Knowledge in determining genealogy.Ability to show mature judgment and maintain a strict standard of confidentiality.Ability to exhibit good organizational, interpersonal, writing and communication skills to interpret reports.
Ability to coordinate and organize tasks according to established deadlines.Ability to perform mathematical computation of fractions accurately.Ability to communicate orally and in writing with customers, members of the general public, outside
entities, administrative staff and co-workers.Ability to enroll in continuing education courses to upgrade self and program.Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with other employees, Community
Officials and the general public.Ability to perform all physical requirements of the position; agree to maintain a Drug-free workplace.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE AND TRAINING:
High School diploma or GED and a minimum of three (3) years full-time administrative support experience orexperience in data processing or recordkeeping, or any combination of education, training or experience whichdemonstrates the ability to perform the duties of this position; and which includes one (1) year experience in
customer service preferably in a Tribal Government setting.
