As a Client Payment Advisor, you will be responsible for a full range of financial support related to manufacturer rebate disbursements to our clients. In this role, the Advisor will be responsible for calculating custom rebate payment terms as well as the supporting client-facing reporting. This individual will also be involved in ad hoc analysis supporting rebate data and scenarios, contributing to innovative solutions, and supporting rebate-related requests and questions from both internal partners as well as our external clients.

The candidate must be able to quickly get up to speed on complex, varying contract terms as well as our data environment in order to be able to accurately calculate and report on client manufacturer rebate payments and related support. A successful candidate would have a high proficiency in using tools such as Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Access and SQL with experience in data mining from very large datasets. This individual needs to work efficiently, have excellent organization skills, the aptitude to manage multiple conflicting priorities, and the ability to meet deadlines. Preferably the candidate would also have strong communication and customer service skills that enable them to effectively work with varying levels within the organization as well as with external clients.

Required Qualifications
3+ years of corporate professional experience.
3+ years using Microsoft Access, SAS, or SQL.

Preferred Qualifications
5+ years of corporate professional experience in an analytic role
3+ years of experience interfacing directly with clients, explaining reports, performing reconciliations, answering questions, etc. in a fast-paced environment
Experience reading client contracts and interpreting financial terms and schedules
5+ years using Microsoft Access or other data-mining tool and Excel in a professional or academic setting
Ability to automate workbooks and databases using VBA, Access Basic, etc.
Ability to think creatively and be a self-starter to proactively develop solutions
Experience using business analytics to solve data-driven questions

Bachelor’s degree required
