Job Description

We are currently seeking a Purchasing Agent to be based in our Tempe, AZ Corporate office.

Purchasing Agents assist the Purchasing Manager in maximizing the Company's inventory efficiently by balancing demand and supply. They provide courteous, pro active service to customers, both internal and external. On a day-to-day basis, they maintain extensive product knowledge; they analyze purchasing reports to determine inventory requirements; they source materials when primary source is out of stock or when material is not a normal inventoried item and generate purchase orders.

Job Requirements:

H.S. diploma plus some college; 4-year degree preferred.
2-5 years of experience in similar role.
Intermediate computer skills including MS Outlook, Word and Excel.
Experience with Logistics (shipping & freight), supply chain management and forecasting.
Must be well-organized, detail oriented with exceptional follow-up skills.
