Job Description

TITLE:   Human Resources Manager / Recruiting Manager
SUMMARY:  The company provides staffing and consulting on large projects that are national and international.  This is an excellent growth opportunity with exciting organization that is a fast-paced and growing.  This is a full-time position that will plan, implement and coordinate all human resources activities. Hours are 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., M-F, with some long hours and weekends. Great location in Chandler! The company offers competitive pay, plus 401(k), health & life insurance, vacation pay, holiday pay, and PTO. Position reports directly to the company Principals. 
  • Complies with all existing governmental laws and regulations within the Human Resources department
  • Protects the interests of the company and employees in compliance with governmental laws and regulations
  • Partners with management to develop and create HR policies and manuals
  • Partners with management regarding employee development and training program
  • Performs employee relations and employee counseling
  • Works with management regarding compensation programs (salary, bonus, incentive compensation, etc.)
  • Partners with management regarding performance management/evaluation process
  • Administers disability and workers compensation claims
  • Performs candidate identification and phone screening processes
  • Performs hiring and onboarding processes
  • Performs employee termination process steps
  • Works with HRIS (implementation and ongoing daily maintenance)
  • Partners with management in creating and updating job descriptions
  • Maintains employee related databases and prepares periodic reports
  • Understands and complies with EEOC and AA regulations and laws
  • Oversees and performs the drug testing, employment verification, background checks
  • Administers PTO and benefits
  • May provide payroll processing backup support
  • 5+ years managing a staffing organization, either corporate or staffing agency
  • 1-2 years managing some or all functional areas of HR such as Compliance, Compensation & Benefits, Safety, Recruitment & Selection, Employee Relations, Organizational Development
  • HRIS enterprise software implementation and utilization
  • Knowledge of multistate labor laws
  • Strong multi-tasking skill
  • Self-starter/independent thinker
  • Interested in Safety
  • High level of ethical behavior
  • Adaptable/able to deal with fast changing environment
  • Background check required
  • Prefers Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources
  • Prefers PHR or equivalent
